Do you have an organization project that you’ve been putting off because it makes you feel frustrated, overwhelmed, or depressed every time you think about it?
When those thoughts surface, do you feel like you don’t even know where to start, so you tell yourself “I’ll get to it someday,” and tackle something easier instead?
The “somedays” are endless because you can’t find the time, energy, or motivation to get started.
Do you wish someone would wave a wand and fix it all, or that a team would show up with zest and ideas that transform your space into something you've only dreamed of?
I’ve been there.
I know the feeling of being overwhelmed by things. How easy it is to turn a blind eye, telling yourself you don’t care, or just can’t right now. Shut the door. Apologize for the mess. Swallow the shame.
You’re running a business and a home, or work from home, and the two have gotten so tangled that there’s no place (or time) to rest anymore.
You need to set some boundaries, but don’t see how to get it all done.
You’ve kept every drawing your kids made, mementos from every trip and event, all the favorite and valuable pieces of furniture from your parents’ home … and now can’t see much of yourself reflected in the space you live in.
You need help editing and finding perfect spaces for what you keep.
Maybe you’ve put it off for a long time ... making that move into a smaller space or retirement home, but the piles of things seem too great to deal with.
You need a plan and a hand.
Your business has grown and you find yourself sticking new things wherever they fit because you're too busy to find time to come up with a better plan. The piles are getting hard to manage.
You need a fresh vision of how to accommodate your growing needs.
I've lived in Rogersville since 2020, have two grown sons and an artist husband, and also love on three dogs and two cats. I've worn many hats and lived in many places, but am delighted to call Clinch Mountain my home!
I'm curious about what makes things work in all the realms ... human, natural, industrial, and spiritual. I love to learn new things, have deep conversations, build and repair stuff, and keep an open door for visitors.
I can study a room for a few minutes, redesign it in my head, and sometimes get out the tape measure to make sure that it will all fit the way I imagine. I often do this for fun when I'm in businesses, homes, and public spaces ... usually seeing easily how they can be made more functional and appealing. I also love bringing hope to overwhelming situations, and teasing order out of chaos.
While rehabbing a house in my 20s with my dad, and more recently spending 5+ years on the road with my family doing jobs like fixing and organizing and painting and building all sorts of things, it became very clear that organizing was mandatory in order to start the work, and it also made the job go very smoothly. I spent much of my time on each job designing staging areas, making supply lists, setting the order of operations, minimizing the disruptions, and finding extra things that needed tweaked and added in along the way. I honed my project management skills along with my organizing skills.
This work is truly my "happy place", and I'd love to help you be happy and comfortable in YOUR space!
I tend to see the big picture, and how things flow and work together. I can offer perspective that helps you see your own space with fresh eyes, and give you ways to make shifts that have big rewards in your day-to-day life. We're all blind at times to the things we see every day, and a new viewing point can really help!
Organization is never perfect, I just want to help you get your space to where you can enjoy it fully! We'll go as deep as you want and take each space one at a time. It goes like this ... assess, re-imagine, discuss, surface the hidden things, sort, and reassemble into something that makes you happy, peaceful, and hopeful!
I'm a trained life coach, and practiced formally for 5 years helping people get unstuck and able to move forward in things they were missing in their lives. I now use those skills in all my relationships, and find it really valuable to know how to help you get past your roadblocks. We all have them, and it's nice to get rid of their limitations!
I've organized garages, homes, basements, closets, storage units and sheds. Not everyone wants their space shown, but here are a few examples.
If you've made it this far, I think you know it's time to take the leap and call in reinforcements by having me come and (at the very least) give you a vision that shows you how to start reclaiming and renewing your space.
